Subsea UK has announced the shortlist of finalists for the 2013 Subsea Business Awards.
The honours, in their seventh year, recognise innovation and excellence in the UK subsea industry, as it competes in a global market which is estimated to double to £40billion annually over the next five years.
Winners will be announced at a dinner on Wednesday, February 6, held during Europe’s foremost event for the industry – Subsea 2013 – at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK, said: “These highly coveted and eagerly anticipated awards publicly recognise and reward those companies and individuals who push the boundaries to ensure that the UK subsea sector continues to lead the way globally.
“The UK subsea sector has continued to grow in spite of the recession and our focus must now be on looking beyond the next wave and considering how we can maintain our market position, while continuing to innovate and attract new talent.”
