Up to 5,000 delegates are now expected to attend Europe’s leading annual subsea conference and exhibition in Aberdeen next year.
Subsea Expo will run from February 5-7 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
More than 170 companies will be exhibiting. Organiser Subsea UK will use the event to launch its ambitious vision for 2014.
Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK, said: “We will be looking to increase our connectivity with global subsea hubs to ensure we promote British subsea capabilities, identifying opportunities for our members and helping them further their global reach.
“The UK captures 45% of the global subsea market – £8.9billion – a figure which is increasing rapidly and our focus will be on helping our members resource for that growth and ensuring we retain our world-leading position.”
