At next week’s Deep Offshore Technology International Conference and Exhibition (DOT), Technip’s Emilie Lachaud will present during the emerging technology and development initiatives session.
Join us at 09:00, Crombie Suite B, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) for her presentation on “Unmanned Surface Vessel for support of Marine Construction Operations.”
Ms Lachaud is lead engineer subsea intervention within the installation engineering department at Technip Innovation and Technology Centre.
Her talk will focus on replacing costly manned vessels with drones in routine operations during pipeline installation and survey tasks. She will present the qualification process undertaken for utilisation of an unmanned surface vessel (USV) for offshore installation operations, which is a first in the offshore industry.
