Ceona has landed a contract to carry out deepwater work in the Gulf of Mexico.
The SURF firm agreed a deal with Bennu Oil & Gas to deploy its flagship vessel, the Amazon, to the Mirage field.
The Amazon, which has picked up two contract wins this year, will install 2.4 miles of flexible flowline and a 2.6 miles umbilical from Bennu’s Mirage well. The flowline and umbilical will then be tied back to Bennu’s Titan Production Facility at 4,000ft below the surface.
Ceona, which secured the support of Goldman Sachs as a majority shareholder, aims to complete a fleet of super vessels to support its work in the GoM, Brazil and West Africa.
