Representatives from around 400 companies and delagates from across 16 countries are to descend on Glasgow tomorrow for the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference.
Speakers at the two day All Energy 2017 event include the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon and dozens of other industry leaders.
As well as seminars, debates and knowledge sharing, there will be a large networking evening and the opportunity for one-to-one meetings.
Running alongside the main event will be the inaugral two-day Smart Urban Mobility Solutions (SUMS 2017) conference.
This will feature sessions on Transport Scotland’s policy, strategy and delivery. Highlights are billed as low carbon vehicles, a Segway driving school, and a cyclist on a static bike not only being used to power a computer, but to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.
Event director, Jonathan Heastie of organisers Reed Exhibitions, hailed a “stellar” line up of speakers and exhibitors.
He added: “We are looking forward to welcoming the First Minister to her first All-Energy, and thousands of participants.
“It’s an event that buzzes with enthusiasm from exhibitors eager to do business and visitors just as eager to learn and to engage with exhibitors and conference speakers.
“This is an important time for Scotland’s energy plans.”
