A private equity-backed rental equipment firm based in Aberdeen will launch a new range of products at this year’s Offshore Europe event.
RentAir Offshore, which was snapped by by SCF Partners last year, said it has invested “significantly” in its latest range of air compressors, steam generators and heat suppression booster pumps.
Kieran White, Chief Executive of Rentair said: “We’re now the only company to currently offer a full package of air, steam and heat fully certified to the DNV 2.7-2 standard.”
Another new product on show will be the firm’s automated fire/leak detection suppression system, designed for use with flammable liquids such as methanol.
Mr White said: “In the current climate we have been working hard to bring new, innovative products and solutions to our customers, working in partnership to enhance safety offshore.”
Rentair is part of the Centurion Group, a portfolio of specialist oil and gas equipment firms which includes container and tank rental firm, Conserve Oilfield Services.
SCF took control on Rentair when it acquired the business from Australia’s Coates Group.
Mr White said: “We’ve been working closely with another group company Conserve – rental provider of offshore cargo carrying units, containers, baskets, chemical transport tanks – to deliver this solution, utilising their equipment to develop and build the Enviro-Guard product. This has brought additional cost efficiencies and increased our speed to market with the final product.”
