Every week, Energy Voice asks readers to give their views on some the hot topics affecting the oil sector.
This time, we want to know how you feel about the Scottish Government’s moratorium on fracking.
A moratorium on unconventional oil and gas development in Scotland has been in place since January 2015 while the government investigates evidence on its potential impact.
A consultation on fracking was launched earlier this year and finishes at the end of May. A final decision is expected to be made by ministers by the end of the year.
Earlier this week, UK Onshore Oil and Gas said the government’s own research had debunked many of the wilder claims about fracking’s environmental impacts and that continuing the moratorium was unjustified.
The latest questionnaire will be kept open until Friday, May 19, to allow as much participation as possible.
