This year marked a milestone for the original North Sea find – the Forties field.
Discovered in late 1970 and brought onstream 40 years ago, the find by oil major BP was the first major discovery on the UK Continental Shelf.
Energy Voice spoke to those involved with the project and uncovered some of the most memorable photographs and footage from the time.
