Nigerian’s went to the ballot box this year to elect a new leader of the West African country.
President Muhammadu Buhari took over from former leader Goodluck Jonathan, promising sweeping changes to how the government controlled its income from the oil and gas industry.
Since he was sworn in, the former oil industry worker has appointed himself oil minister with the government’s anti corruption body making a number of arrests of former government employees.
