Airbus Helicopters said it has delivered an “industry-leading” number of aircraft in the last year, having manufactured 497 units.
The company behind most of the helicopters working in the North Sea also said 2014 had got off to a good start, with the certification of its new EC175 helicopter and the “implementation of an ambitious customer-driven transformation plan”.
President Guillaume Faury added: “In parallel, the Airbus Helicopters rebranding provides a reference for greater ambition.”
A recent change of name saw France-based Eurocopter – known for its Super Pumas – become Airbus Helicopters in line with its parent, the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company rebranding to Airbus on January 2.
Airbus Helicopters expects revenue to grow by a single-digit percentage this year, Mr Faury said.
