Wood Group has been awarded a new contract by petrochemical manufacturer Sabic to provide engineering design services the firm’s Teesside complex in Wilton.
The contract, effective immediately, will be delivered by Wood Group’s operations in Woking and extends its work Sabic globally. Wood Group currently supports Sabic operations in Saudi Arabia and the US. The terms of the contract were undisclosed.
Robin Watson, Wood Group’s chief executive said the deal “demonstrates the strong relationship we have with this client”.
He added: “Our diverse and robust expertise and capabilities position us strongly to add value for clients in the petrochemical market, which represents a good long-term opportunity for Wood Group.”
