InterOil said it has been given approval by the Supreme Court of Yukon for its deal with ExxonMobil.
The company said the decision follows a contested hearing which was held last month.
Last month InterOil shareholders waved through ExxonMobil’s takeover.
A majority of 80% voted in favour of the deal.
