Halliburton’s operations in Norway made a loss in revenues of 9.2% last year.
According to reports the company saw figures of NOK5.8billion compared with NOK6.4billion a year earlier.
The earnings were revealed in the company’s annual report which was recently submitted to authorities.
A spokeswoman for the firm said the previous year had been difficult for the supplier industry related to oil and gas both “globally and in Norway”.
In 2016, activity was also reduced by half for the firm.
The spokeswoman added the company thought activity would stabilise in 2017 and the current level.
