Odfjell has struck a deal to sell its stake in a terminal in Oman for $130million.
The company said the sale was being mmade by Odfjell Terminals BV, a joint venture holding company which owns and operates all its tank terminals worldwide.
The transaction will result in a net gain of $90million for the joint venture.
Chief executive Kristian Morch said: “We are please to have concluded on the sale of our Oman terminal at what we believe is a very attractive valuation and is a testimony to the strength and quality of the investments made in Oman since 2008.”
