Krewe Energy said it has completed an acquisition with Hilcorp Energy for its West Little Lake field.
The site is next to Krewe’s currently operated Little Lake field in Louisiana.
In a statement, the company said the acquisition has increased Krewe’s position in the region to 2,200 acres.
The West Little Lake field also provides an immediate production increase along with upside opportunities which are economic in today’s current price environment.
Krewe owns and operated a 100% working interest in the majority of its existing assets and said it is continuing to “aggressively identify” and pursue additional opportunities around its current operational footprint.
