Swire Oilfield Services opened a new regional headquarters in Singapore today.
The firm, part of the Swire Group, said it had invested £5million in the region in the past 12 months and would be investing a further £20million, as part of a £100million global spend on new equipment and infrastructure this year.
The new base will cover the Asia Pacific region and is part of the company’s plan to grow Swire Oilfield Services presence in South-East Asia and beyond.
Last year Swire Oilfield Services announced it had started work on a new £4million Aberdeen headquarters on Altens Industrial Estate.
