The jack-up rig Rowan Norway, contracted out to oil and gas explorer Xcite Energy, is once again on the move.
After just over a week moored off Banff on the north-east coast of Scotland, the vessel began its journey to the Bentley field again today.
It originally left Dundee, where it underwent modifications, on March 1, but was diverted due to weather, it was reported.
Last Thursday, the Department of Energy and Climate Change approved plans for its first phase drilling and production – an extended well test – on Bentley.
