Warm weather across the UK and fears over Norwegian production outages saw British gas prices drop today.
The price of gas this weekend dropped 0.80 pence to 60.45 pence per therm ahead of forecasts of soaring temperatures, with the south of England tipped to reach 19 degrees celsius.
Norwegian delivers are down 14million cubic metres to 62mcm due to ongoing maintenance at the country’s Troll gas field, although the gas network was still oversupplied by 16mcm.
