Salamander Energy Plc has opened talks with interested buyers for the potential sale of the company.
The southeast Asia oil and gas producer has appointed Goldman Sachs International as its financial adviser for the possible transaction.
Salamander’s average daily production last year was about 14,200 barrels of oil equivalent.
It’s valued at $582.96million.
The firm is also considering selling some of its assets, including its minority interest in the Bualuang oilfield in Thailand and its Kerendan gas field in Indonesia.
A full review is expected to conclude in the coming weeks.
