DOF Subsea has landed a £15million contract with Teekay Shipping Norway AS for the Gina Krog FSO.
The Gina Krog oil field is located 30km north of the Sleipner platform in the Norwegian North Sea.
DOF Subsea was contracted in to supply the turret mooring and riser installation for the field.
Jan-Kristian Haukeland, executive vice president of DOF Subsea, said: “This is the third significant contract we have signed with Teekay in the last two years for mooring installation scopes in the UK and Norway sector.

Their ongoing trust in our capabilities demonstrates to us that our continuous investment in our people, especially within engineering and project execution, and our fleet of combined AHT and construction vessels, is yielding results.”
The scope of work includes installation of 12 suction anchors, STL buoy hook-up, and installation of the riser system for the Gina Krog FSO. DOF Subsea’s Skandi Skolten and Normand Reach vessels will be mobilised to carry out the offshore operations.
