Transocean said the stock exchange in Switzerland has approved the company’s application to delist its shares.
The company, which yesterday announced a contract win with Faroe Petroleum, said the SIX delisting will come into affect from the end of March next year.
The last day of trading Transocean will take part in with the stock exchange will appear on March 30th, 2016 before ceasing the next day.
Transocean said it remains incorporated in Switzerland and the company’s shares will continue to be listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
When the company joined the Zurich Exchange it was the biggest debut in the Swiss exchange in more than a decade.
