The offshore installation campaign for the Dvalin gas field in the Norwegian Sea has got underway.
Operator DEA has released footage of the 265-tonne subsea template being lifted onto Technip FMC’s Deep Explorer construction vessel.
The lift took place at the Aker Solutions quayside yard at Egersund in Norway.
DEA is 55% owner and operator of Dvalin, its first operated field in Norway.
It has estimated reserves of 18.2billion cubic metres of gas, with first gas expected in 2020.
