Mermaid Maritime said it has secured an additional subsea cable installation and diving services contract worth $10million.
The agreement is expected to be completed within three months and will begin in April.
The company said the work will utilise the chartered-in DP2 construction barge the ‘Mubarak Supporter’ along with other specialised vessels.
It comes after Mermaid announced in 2013 it had established a new cable lay division as part of its strategic initiative to expand its service offering to customers in the Middle East.
