Aker Solutions had won a new contract with oil major BP.
The company said the engineering and project management services agreement will be for a fixed period of five years, with an offer to extend it by two years.
It will cover subsea engineering services, asset integrity management and operations support.
Luis Araujo, Aker Solutions’ chief executive, said: “We are delighted to partner with BP in finding cost-effective solutions to boost productivity and optimize the infrastructure of the company`s subsea fields.
“We have provided subsea operations support to BP in the UK for more than 15 years and look forward to building on this partnership with a global agreement.”
No contract value was given for the deal.
