Venezuela has proposed non-OPEC members who participated in the recent Doha meeting attend the next one in June as observers.
The country’s oil minister made the suggestion following the recent failure to come to an agreement in Doha.
Eulogio Del Pino said: “And now we can renew discussions. I anticipate that, without a deal, prices from now to OPEC will drop and it’s not the same to sit down at the table with Brent at $43 per barrel as it is when it’s below $30.”
