Wood Group has appointed Raymond Schlaff as senior vice president and chief procurement officer.
The 30-year veteran is responsible for procurement strategies, processes and governance, and to drive efficiencies across the Group’s global supply chain.
“Ray has an outstanding record in supply chain management. His experience in driving efficiencies across supply chain functions, combined with his understanding of global markets, will serve Wood Group well during this dynamic time,” stated David Kemp, chief financial officer.
“Wood Group continues to focus on reducing costs and improving efficiencies, and Ray’s strong leadership will help to ensure success.”
The newly appointed leader has previously worked for NALCO, Owens Illiniois, Tyco, GE and Dupont.
He was most recently the senior vice president and group chief procurement officer for National Grid in London and Boston
