Iraq’s deputy oil minister has said he expects the oil price to be as much as $65 per barrel in the second half of the year.
Fayadh al-Nema put the estimate as between $55 and $65 as he spoke to reporters in Vienna.
It comes as international Brent crude oil futures were put at just under $50 a barrel.
Oil ministers from OPEC (Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) are meeting in Vienna to discuss a production freeze.
