Gulfsands Petroleum said its executive chairman will retire from his role with the company.
The firm said Alastair Beardsall will also step back from his role as a director.
Executive duties are expected to be assumed by John Bell as managing director and Andrew Morris as finance director.
James Ede-Golightly will assume the role of non-executive chairman.
