A long-awaited gas project offshore Mozambique is on its way to final approval, according to reports.
The project which is being completed with Eni, is one of the world’s biggest gas finds in a decade.
Despite being made in 2010, negotiations with Eni and Anadarko have rumbled on, in a dispute over terms and fears over falling energy prices.
In recent weeks Eni had struck deals with contractors and Mozambique’s government which could help make it to a final investment decision at the end of October.
