Jacob Engineering Group has won a contract from Shell for its Vito host project in the Gulf of Mexico.
The company will deliver a front-end engineering and design package and detailed engineering for the Vito host platform topsides.
Vito is located in more than 4,000 feet of water in the Mississippi Canyone area of the Gulf of Mexico.
Senior vice president of petroleum and chemicals Mauel Junco, said:“We are delighted to continue our long-standing, successful relationship with Shell. This project allows us to leverage our experience with deep-water production systems and will be a new lower cost design basis for Shell.”
