ExxonMobil said it expects to deliver 7.9million tonnes of liquefied natural gas from Papua New Guinea this year.
It is around 14% above nameplate capacity of its PNG LNG plant, the company’s head said on Monday.
The firm, which operated PNG LNG, said it expects to be able to produce at 16% above nameplate capacity of 6.9million tonnes a year.
The announcement was made by ExxonMobil’s PNG managing director Andrew Barry at a conference in Sydney.
