Norwegian safety body the PSA has granted Aker BP consent to connect the Oda field to the Ula field.
Centrica Resources is the operator of the Oda field in the Norwegian sector of the Southern North Sea.
It is to be developed as a subsea facility tied back to the Ula field, where Aker BP is the operator.
Oda was discovered in 2011.
The plan for development and operation for the field was submitted to the authorities in November 2016.
Production is scheduled to begin in Q3 2019.
