Norway’s offshore safety body has cleared Spain’s Repsol to drill an exploration well on the Stordal prospect.
The Transocean Spitsbergen semi-submersible rig will drill the well on Stordal in the Norwegian Sea, about 395kilometres west of Bodo.
Drilling is slated to start in early March and last 33 days.
