Subsea 7 has won a contract from supermajor BP as part of the Mad Dog 2 Gulf of Mexico deepwater development.
The firm will provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation (epci) of the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) and associated subsea architecture.
The contract is understood to be valued at between $300million to $500 million.
