Yinson has been awarded a $1 billion contract by Talisman Vietnam (TLV).
The 10 year deal, with the option to extend a further 5 years, will see the Malaysian contractor provide a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility offshore Vietnam.
Shares for the company rose by 4.42 per cent the morning after the announcement.
Mr. Lim Han Weng, group executive chairman of Yinson, said: “We are delighted that all negotiations between us and TLV in relation to the contract have come to a close with the finalisation of the contractual terms.
“We look forward to deliver our best to TLV and meeting our obligations under the bareboat charter contract.
“This event marks a new milestone for us by adding another strong contract to the group’s order book.”
