Aberdeen-based Control Union Industrial Inspections has been awarded a UK-first accreditation for periodic inspections of offshore containers and associated lifting equipment.
The firm is the first and only UK-based company with this UKAS accreditation.
The type-A accreditation further ensures the full independence of the offered inspection services, as Control Union Industrial Inspections is not part of, or partnering with, any manufacturers or suppliers of lifting equipment.
Control Union Industrial Inspections is part of a worldwide network of logistics, inspection and certification companies, including Peterson, who are active in over 70 countries worldwide.
It offers third-party inspection services to industrial asset owners around the world.
