Wellesley Petroleum has booked Odfjell Drilling’s Deepsea Bergen rig to drilling an exploration well on the Norwegian continental shelf.
The rig will start work on the contract in the third or fourth quarter of 2017 before going on to drill a high pressure, high temperature well for OMV Norge.
Deepsea Bergen is currently contracted out to Faroe Petroleum.
