Augean North Sea Services (ANSS) has been awarded a waste management contract by Norwegian oil firm Statoil.
The contract to support the firm’s UK operations will run for five years and will encompass management of all wastes from the drilling, hook-up and production phases.
ANSS managing director Simon Gibb said: “This contract win, coupled with our recent successes with a number of onshore Gas Terminals, demonstrates that ANSS, despite being formed only 5 years ago, is now considered to be among the leading providers of waste management and Industrial Services in the industry.
“With our commitment to best in class customer service, we are very much looking forward to working with Statoil. Although we are getting more and more involved in decommissioning, the Mariner project demonstrates there is still plenty of life left in the North Sea, and we are delighted to be a part of it with Statoil.”
The company was founded in 2012 to provide complete waste management services to the oil and gas industry.
It recently announced the development of a decommissioning centre in Dundee.
