Australian engineering company Monadelphous has been awarded an additional contract for work on the Ichthys Project.
That contract – with Kawasaki Heavy Industries – has been awarded for structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation work on the cryogenic tanks at the Ichthys Project onshore LNG facilities in Darwin.
Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri said: “We are particularly pleased to have secured further works at Ichthys, which underlines our strong performance to date on this project.”
The company will also work on one water industry contract in Australia and three in New Zealand.
Monadelphous signed a six year contract for offshore maintenance services work on the Ichthys Project last month.
