Malaysia’s Sapura Energy has announced that it is on track to bring its offshore gas field in East Malaysia online.
The company said that first gas at its BK15 field is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
SapuraKencana Energy Sarawak Inc signed an SK310 upstream gas sales agreement with Petronas in relation to production from the site in 2016.
The field, which was located in December 2010 is located in the SK310 PSC area, offshore East Malaysia.
It will deliver gas to the Malaysia Liquefied Natural Gas complex in Bintulu, Sarawak.
