ConocoPhillips has suspended all operations and shut-in production in the Eagle Ford shale region of Texas due to Hurricane Harvey.
The company sent non-essential personnel home and closed its office in Kenedy, Texas, about 120 miles (193 km) north of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, according to spokeswoman Romelia Hinojosa.
Offshore, ConocoPhillips has evacuated some personnel from platforms, but does not expect any impact on production from the storm, Hinojosa said
