Energy services and software provider AGR put pen to paper on eight contracts over their UK and Middle East businesses this year.
Two agreed well management contracts – one of which is in the North Sea –have been agreed, along with a further two drilling projects proposed for the UK Continental Shelf.
AGR’s well division has also agreed terms to undertake a number of engineering studies in both the UK and Middle East.
These new contracts have also prompted AGR to recruit 20 new engineers and operational experts.
Ian Burdis, AGR’s UK/Europe/Africa/ME Region executive vice president, said: “The hard work of everyone at AGR has led to a strong second half of 2017 and a promising outlook for 2018. This is a clear indication of the optimism and resilience that exists not only in AGR, but in the oil and gas industry at large.”
