Italian firm Saipem has clinched a series of contracts worth £285million.
Saipem said one of the agreements was for Eni’s West Hub Development off the west coast of Africa
It will build and install pipes and tubes on a block located 350kilometres north-west of Luanda, Angola.
In a separate award by Eni, Saipem will carry out work to boost the capacity of gas stations at the ports of Takoradi and Tema in Ghana.
Finally, Saipem has been picked by Nord Stream 2 AG, a Gazprom-led consortium, for the construction of the last section of the pipeline crossing the Baltic Sea and the shore approach in Greiswald, Germany.
