Oil and gas service firm Sapura Energy has been awarded £267million worth of contracts.
The deals include work for Pan Malaysia Transportation & Installation of Offshore Facilities for PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. and Sarawak Shell Berhad.
The firm will carry out transportation and installation of offshore facilities including platform, structures and pipelines and its associated works in Malaysia.
The work will be executed throughout 2018.
The company has also been awarded a contract to undertake the provision of hook-Up, commissioning and offshore construction services by Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited.
The work comprises onshore preparation and handling, onshore pre-fabrication works, offshore installation and hook-up, inspection, testing and pre-commissioning of structural members and supports, piping, instrument and electrical equipment on existing and new production and processing platforms and facilities.
Sapura will also provide mechanical works for the flexi High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plant for the Refinery And Petrochemical Integrated Development (“RAPID”) Project.
The work is expected to be completed by March 2019.
Finally the firm will complete an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract related to Pipeline for UTE Porto de Sergipe 1 Combined Cycle Power Plant in Brazil.
This will include transportation and installation of the offshore Floating, Regasification and Storage Unit’s (“FSRU”) Mooring System, and the hooking-up of the FSRU/Riser/Umbilical for Centrais Elétricas de Sergipe S.A. (“CELSE”).
The work is expected to be completed by December 2018.
