Owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodations vessels, Prosafe, will act as managers for Safe Swift vessel in the Central Mediterranean Sea contract.
In support of the TechnipFMC managed Bahr Essalam, Phase II development, Prosafe will act as the commercial managers for the Axis Offshore owned Safe Swift.
Prosafe will take operation of the vessel, capable of accommodating over 200 crew.
Safe Swift will operate gangway connected to the Sabratha platform, which is situated approximately 110km off the Libyan coast in a water depth of approximately 190m.
Earlier this year the Cyprus-headquartered Prosafe posted pre-tax losses of $17.5million in the first three months of the year, down from a $1.6million deficit for the same period in 2016.
The Oslo-listed firm’s revenues dropped to $75.7million from $103million.
