Solveig Gas Norway AS’s appeal request has been upheld by the Norwegian Supreme Court following the Borgating Appeals Court decision.
The case revolves around the decision year by the Norwegian Government to cut pipeline tariffs.
The Norwegian Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case brought by Solveig Gas Norway AS, all involved in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy’s (MPE) decision to amend the Gassled tariff regulations in 2013.
Njord Gas Infrastructure, Solveig Gas, Silex Gas and Infragas all claim that the government decision would detrimentally affect their earnings.
The Norwegian firms claim that such and amendment to tariffs would cost them in the region of £1.35billion.
