Engineering consultancy firm, Aqualis Offshore, have inked a frame agreement with Aker BP to provide offshore services.
The deal will see Aqualis carry out marine warranty surveyor and marine services work to Aker BP’s fixed platforms on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).
The contract will look to cover loadouts, transports, installation, towage, moorings, rig moves and vessel inspections.
The deal will run for five years and will see Aqualis support Aker BP from the company’s offices in Norway.
Dr. Bjarte Røed, director of Aqualis Offshore’s Norwegian operation, said: “We find it very exciting to be a part of Aker BPs future. We have supported Aker BP in the past and are confident that our experienced and cost-effective team of consultants will be a good match for Aker BP’s highly ambitious plans offshore Norway.”
