Aberdeen’s Enpro Subsea has signed a pact with Norwegian firm DOF Subsea to pursue targets in the Atlantic region.
The agreement will allow both companies to use each other’s expertise and assets to boost production through the life of oil fields.
Enpro’s flow access and intervention services will be used from DOF’s fleet of vessels to carry out the work.
The agreement announced at the Subsea Tieback Forum in Galveston, Texas.
Raymond Semple, chief operating officer with DOF Subsea said: “Enhanced recovery is a crucial element of our industry´s continuing efforts to effect sustainable improvements to subsea project economics.
“We are excited to be competitively coupling the complementary capabilities of DOF and Enpro to provide an independent and integrated service offering to operators to enhance production from their existing capital infrastructure.”
Enpro Subsea managing director, Ian Donald, said: “The collaboration with DOF Subsea is an exciting step forward for Enpro as this partnership will allow us to offer a full service offering to new and existing customers as we look to target projects in the Atlantic region line with our growth strategy.
“Our MoU with DOF Subsea allows us to integrate our enhanced production technology into their class leading fleet and offer an integrated solution to new customers.”
