Time is running out toapply for one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the Scottish business calendar.
Excitement is building for the 2018 Press and Journal Energy Voice Gold Awards, which will be held at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa in Aberdeen in September.
Two of the gongs up for grabs this year are the Above and Beyond Award and the Industry Leader Award.
The Above and Beyond Award aims to recognise the outstanding employees who help fuel the energy sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment, teamwork and appetite to be and also to do better.
The successful winner will be someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty and be a true reflection of the Energy’s pioneering spirit. Last year John Hunter, from Tendeka, was named Best Employee.
Those hoping to scoop the Industry Leader Award should already be an outstanding energy leader who deserves to be recognised for their appetite for continued learning, mentoring and influence within the sector.
There is no age restraint on this award. However, the winning candidate will have successful track record of leading, empowering people and being a sound ambassador and example of energy’s reputation.
Last year Ray Riddoch, from Nexen Petroleum UK, Limited picked up the accolade.
