ABERDEEN software company C-Sam said yesterday it had landed a six-figure contract to provide oil and gas environmental-waste management company TWMA with a global business-management system.
C-Sam designs, instals and maintains software systems which track, trace and control a business’s assets, including equipment and people.
C-Sam’s OPS system will provide real-time reporting and tracking of Aberdeen-based TWMA’s fleet of specialised drilling-waste management equipment.
The aim is to give senior management critical information which will improve efficiency and increase revenue.
C-Sam managing director Theresa Wheeler said: “This is a significant contract for us and we are looking forward to demonstrating how our OPS system can increase control and visibility over TWMA’s assets, minimise downtime and increase utilisation of assets, both mechanical and human.
“TWMA is a company with ambitious growth targets and like all fast-expanding companies it is vital to have proper control over its asset base to ensure it is working with maximum efficiency.”
TWMA provides integrated drilling-waste management, engineering and environmental services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas sector and employs more than 350 staff at regional bases in the UK, Norway, Egypt, Libya, Dubai and America.
